Did you know how easy treating red spots like these blood vessels on the nose is?
Facial telangiectasia consist of small dilated blood vessels near the surface of the skin. They are harmless and can develop anywhere on the body but are commonly seen on the face around the nose, cheeks, and chin. They come with pregnancy and are common in patients with acne rosacea.
Cherry angiomas are also extremely common, come with age, and sometimes with pregnancy. They, too, are harmless clusters of capillaries at the surface of the skin—sometimes red, sometimes purple.
Treating them is quick and easy. We use a laser called a KTP—a dermatology workhorse. Just takes a few minutes, relatively painless, no downtime, usually just one session. You may have some redness and transient swelling, but it doesn’t last longer than a day.
It’s one of our most popular procedures and our patients have been extremely happy! Cost for treatment is $250/session. To make an appointment, please call us at 310.546.1188 or request one online. We look forward to seeing you!
