Obagi Nu-Derm Sun Shield SPF 50May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month and the Skin Cancer Foundation has graciously assembled a list of reminders on how to reduce your risk of skin cancer. Sunscreen is essential, so for the May Product of the Month, we’ve chosen one of our favorites, Obagi’s Nu-Derm Sun Shield SPF 50.

What makes it great is that it has over 10% zinc oxide for outstanding protection and it has a very thin, matte finish. Because of the micronized formulation, it leaves no white residue. Perfect for people who have oilier skin or for those who don’t like the feeling of products on their skin. However, if your skin is on the dry side, you might want to go with Obagi’s Healthy Skin Protection SPF 35.

Obagi Nu-Derm Sun Shield SPF 50 is available at Manhattan Dermatology for $46. Come by anytime Monday – Friday, between 9am – 5pm. And don’t forget to apply your sunscreen liberally—early and often!
