Radiesse Volumizing Filler

Radiesse is known as a biostimulatory product because studies have shown that it stimulates your own natural collagen production. (We are starting to believe, however, that all fillers, even hyaluronic acid agents such as Juvederm, also lead to collagen production.) Radiesse is comprised of calcium-based microspheres in a gel carrier, and it is considered to be extremely safe and fully biodegradable with time. Radiesse is an ideal product for volumizing deeper lines and folds in the lower face, cheeks, temples and hands. It should not be used in the lips or under the eyes. In general, you can expect that Radiesse will last longer than the hyaluronic acid filling agents.

Downtime: 2-3 for days for swelling and redness, bruising may last 2 weeks. Please follow our pre-appointment guidelines to help prevent bruising.

Maintenance: Overall results may last 9 months to up to 1 year. Generally, we recommend periodic touch-ups to help prolong the effects.
